Gretchen spent eight years as a university English teacher in Tokyo, where she studied traditional Japanese music. In 2011, she earned an MFA in Electronic Music from Mills College (California); Gretchen is now enrolled in\u00a0the doctoral program in Performance Studies at University of California, Davis.
