The Finnish philosopher and theater director Esa Kirkkopelto published more than ten years ago A manifesto for generalised anthropomorphism, where he claimed: “Human hope lies behind all restricted anthropomorphism, behind everything that calls itself “humanism”. It lies in the decidedly non-human. (…) The phenomenon of human is the phenomenon of the stage, theatre the place of encounter for that phenomenon.“ (Cfr.
